Some years ago Dad mentioned this song as something he would like played at his funeral - Ronnie Ronalde's "In a Monastery Garden".

I never really knew if this was serious or not.  It wasn't his usual taste in music, and knowing his sense of humour, I could imagine him thinking that if you are coming to his funeral it would be funny to make you all sit there and listen to this!

In the absence of any other direction on his funeral wishes, other than simple and non-religious, this now can't really be ignored can it?

So, it may or may not have been a serious, but his wishes will be followed!
